SEVEN CENTS Yellow Ochre Scott #113

There are a number of nice re-entries on the 7¢ yellow ochre, but due to the colour, they are not easy to locate.

(Ignore the listing in Unitrade for a major re-entry in pp 1L7. This was an error on my part.)

7¢ Admiral Yellow Ochre

Major Re-entry 1

Here is a major re-entry showing as a band of doubling across the 'CAN' and 'AGE' of CANADA POSTAGE.

A correction to my previous listing here: the above two photos are both from the same stamp. The upper photo was erroneously labelled as pp 1L7. It is not.

Scott #113

7¢ Admiral Yellow Ochre

Major Re-entry 5

Position Unknown

This one is very similar to #3 above, but the doubling here is confined to just the 'E', as well as above and below it.

Scott #113

7¢ Admiral Yellow Ochre

Major Re-entry 5

Position Unknown

This is a new major re-entry just reported by Bill Burden of New Brunswick. Note the strong doubling in the 'N' of CANADA and in the white oval above 'ANA.' This stamp is not listed by Marler in his book on The Admirals, so this re-entry must have occurred after the plate proofs were taken. Marler would certainly not have missed something this obvious while examining the proofs in the Archives.
